For the legitimate production, import/sale of this type of clothing, a business entity will need to go through a number of mandatory procedures for evaluating and labeling the product, and issue a list of permits.
Since 2016, according to FZ-105 of 04/26/2016, mandatory labeling of fur coats of both domestic and imported production is provided. Features of certification of fur products
Certification of fur coats is a procedure for confirming the conformity of goods with the requirements that apply to their safety and quality.They are reflected in TR CU 017/2011 - a regulatory act regulating the production and turnover of such products. It is valid throughout the EAEU.
According to TR CU 017, the form of evaluation of fur garments is mandatory declaration.
For children's fur coats, the provisions of TR CU 007/2011 "On the safety of goods for children and adolescents" apply.
If you plan to produce or import fur coats, a declaration of conformity must be obtained before the start of production or before the start of customs clearance.
It is registered on the basis of a test report from an accredited laboratory. If the research results correspond to acceptable values, the procedure is considered successfully completed and the declaration is registered in the unified register. Otherwise, a refusal to issue a permit comes.
After receiving the mandatory declaration, the entrepreneur has the right to order a voluntary certificate for a fur coat. This document additionally confirms the compliance of the goods with the established requirements (issued within the framework of the national GOST R system). The certificate contributes to the growth of consumer confidence, increases the competitiveness of goods, makes it possible to enter new sales markets.
Procedure for registration of permits

The main nuances of product labeling
Labeling of natural fur products is mandatory for all entrepreneurs engaged in the production, sale and import of fur coats on the territory of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Two points that an entrepreneur should know about:
- a single "EAC" sign is indicated on each unit of goods that has passed the conformity assessment.
- a control identification mark (PPE) is applied to each product, which allows you to track the goods from the factory to the sale to the final buyer.

1. Registration of an entrepreneur in the accounting system.
2. Obtaining a qualified electronic signature.

4. Conclusion of a cooperation agreement with the CRPT (Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies) for ordering control and identification signs.
5. Applying chips to each item (they are glued, sewn or hung).
