Justification of the safety of machinery and equipment
The safety justification is developed in accordance with the rules of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of Machinery and Equipment" dated October 18, 2011 No. 823, adopted on October 18, 2011 and valid on February 15, 2013 in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
This document, according to the regulations, must contain data of a technological, design and other plan, as well as a risk analysis. This makes it possible to indicate what minimum requirements must be met during the development, production and use, and major repairs of equipment.
Risk in this case means determining how likely situations are when the equipment breaks down and this leads to unforeseen or dangerous consequences. People, buildings, structures, equipment itself and other property can suffer from such consequences.ество.
Such work, according to the law, must be carried out by an organization or an individual who designs equipment – prepares documentation of a design, design, operational nature. At the same time, it is necessary to be guided by the requirements and norms of GOST R 54122-2010 " Safety of machinery and equipment. Requirements for the safety justification".
A ready-made safety justification should be kept by the designer or developer of the equipment. The supplier of the equipment and the one who operates it receives a copy of the safety justification. A copy must be kept until the expiration date of the equipment expires.
The design of the safety justification must occur in accordance with certain requirements. In the process of its preparation, a short or full version of the document can be used.
The brief contains confirmation that the equipment meets the requirements of GOST. The full list contains the results of calculations, tests, as well as measures that are applied when control and supervisory procedures are carried out.
